ABOUT THE ROLE
At DistriQ, business development aims to concretely strengthen the value created for resident companies. It is not about accumulating partners or organizations, but about building a coherent set of services, expertise, and relationships that facilitate their daily operations and support their development.
As the guardian of ecosystem coherence, you will help structure a useful business environment by attracting and integrating companies and partnerships that meet real needs observed on the ground.
YOUR ROLE
You will act as the reference for the coherence of DistriQ's business ecosystem.
Your role consists of ensuring that every new company or partnership:
Integrates naturally with what already exists,
Reduces friction experienced by residents,
Or improves their ability to grow.
Opportunities are evaluated based on their concrete utility for resident companies rather than on a logic of volume or theoretical attractiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, approach, and attract companies whose technological needs are compatible with the existing infrastructure and specialized equipment offered by DistriQ
Identify, approach, and attract companies whose services or expertise are relevant to resident companies
Qualify opportunities based on real needs expressed or observed among residents
Structure partnerships that facilitate access to useful resources (technical, commercial, regulatory, financial, HR, etc.)
Adjust or decline partnerships that do not create tangible value for residents
Maintain an ongoing understanding of the challenges, priorities, and constraints faced by resident companies
Translate this understanding into clear criteria for attraction, selection, and integration
Ensure the harmonious integration of new organizations within the community
Contribute to the quality of the experience lived by companies integrated into the ecosystem
Participate in the evolution of DistriQ's business model in connection with quantum community networks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
As a member of the team responsible for connections, networking, and partnerships, you will work in close collaboration with:
The team in contact with residents to understand their experience and needs,
The team managing spaces, hosting capacities, and technical infrastructure,
The financial resources team managing contractual agreements.
You will also have regular interactions with resident companies, partners, and internal teams
REQUIRED PROFILE
Deep knowledge of quantum technologies and the local, national, or international quantum ecosystem
Strong ability to listen to and understand real business issues
Good judgment in assessing the relevance and coherence of opportunities
Comfortable making structuring decisions, including declining poorly-aligned opportunities
Ease in an ecosystem-building and aligning role
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
Sense of human relations, coherence, and credibility
Good command of French and English
