Highlighting the Daily Life of Residents and the Ecosystem
📍 Sherbrooke (QC) – In-person / hybrid depending on the context
ABOUT THE POSITION
At DistriQ, a significant part of our value depends on the daily experiences within Espace Quantique 1: the resident companies, their teams (the residents), their projects, and their interactions with the quantum ecosystem.
This role aims to make this reality visible and accessible, while directly contributing to the dynamics of life within our spaces.
As a Communications – Resident Experience Coordinator, you will document and share what is happening on the ground, while participating in the organization and hosting of events that structure our collective life.
YOUR ROLE
You are responsible for capturing, structuring, and sharing content related to the daily life of residents, while contributing to the daily animation of our spaces.
You will act on two complementary levels:
narrating the daily experience (communications),
supporting and animating the daily experience (events and community life).
Your work relies on a regular presence on the ground and a deep understanding of the residents' daily lives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Telling Our Residents' Stories
Animate DistriQ's current and future social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and others) on a regular basis in collaboration with the Communications Manager
Identify, capture, and document moments of the residents' daily lives (interactions, activities, etc.)
Produce and distribute content in various formats (text, photo, video, blogs)
Highlight companies, residents, and their achievements in a way that is true to their reality
Structure a coherent narrative thread around life within the DistriQ spaces
Contribute to showcasing the concrete benefits of the workplace environment
Contribution to Daily Life and Events
Participate in organizing activities that shape life in our spaces (meetings, internal activities, and events)
Contribute to the logistical preparation and smooth running of events
Be present during activities to support their hosting and capture content in real time
Ensure event wrap-up (feedback, promotion, content sharing)
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency across activities, communications, and resident needs
Maintain an active presence in our spaces to support collective dynamics
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regular interaction with residents
Collaboration with DistriQ's internal team
Frequent presence on-site to observe, understand, document, and contribute to the life of the spaces
Work using modern tools for content distribution, creation, and activity coordination
REQUIRED PROFILE
Experience (at least 4 years) in communications, marketing, events, or a related field
Ability to capture and tell real-life stories in a clear and structured way
At ease with social media and various content formats
Strong writing skills
Good editorial judgment and sense of promotion
Autonomy, rigor, and consistency
Strong interpersonal skills in varied contexts (teams, executives, partners)
Interest in innovation and technological environments
Excellent French, functional English
